A New record dialog has no fields

Recognize an unavailable creation flow and report useful evidence.

Before you start

Anyone may report the screen. Only authorized staff should retry the underlying creation workflow.

Steps

  1. Check whether the screen has inputs and a save, submit or Pair control. A heading, helper sentence and close X alone cannot create a record.
  2. Close the dialog. Note the task, page, browser/device, time and the exact visible text. Capture a screenshot without private scholar details or credentials.
  3. Report it to the program coordinator or support through your established channel. Ask authorized staff to check for a saved record before retrying.

Support has a reproducible report. No created event, opportunity or mentor pairing is established by opening or closing an empty dialog.

If something goes wrong

This condition has been reported for event creation, opportunity posting and mentor pairing. If the form is empty, support needs to verify the affected site and browser. A working local preview does not prove the live screen is repaired.
