Reconcile historical attendance evidence

Keep original sign-ins while staff confirm identity and actual event/date.

Before you start

Assigned staff/admin with existing access to the review cohort and matched scholars. Staging must be configured before evidence can be saved.

Steps

  1. Open Calendar → Historical attendance — event/date needs review. Search source rows or filter review status; matched scholar records also link here.
  2. Import the reviewed source-evidence file if it has not been staged. An unchanged replay skips existing rows and retains staff mappings; changed source content requires a separate correction review.
  3. Open the original source row and matched scholar record. Review identity, choose the actual existing calendar event/date and record a reason. A submission time is not an event date.
  4. Save the acknowledged provisional review. Reopen or exclude a mapping with a reason when evidence changes; source and actor/time history remain.
  5. Verify actual attendance separately in the actual event roll. Several source rows can support one person/event mark, and missing scans stay unknown.

Check the result

Evidence is linked provisionally to the scholar and selected event with preserved source references and review history. No attendance, engagement or grant total changes.

If something goes wrong

Identity ambiguity remains unmatched. Queue scope grants no membership. Never create a dummy dated event, backdate a submission or turn a repeat source row into another attendance without distinct-event evidence.
