Review Handshake registration in setup

Open the career site and keep self-report separate from verification.

Before you start

Signed-in scholar; Handshake registration is an external process and its program requirement is pending confirmation.

Steps

  1. In profile setup, open the Handshake step if offered.
  2. Follow Open UAPB Handshake to review or register through that service’s own process, then return to ESOS.
  3. Only if true, check I have completed my Handshake registration and use Save self-report & continue. Use Undo local report to correct the browser declaration if needed.

Check the result

A local self-report can be saved in this browser. It does not verify the external account, change the official program source record or create a program milestone.

If something goes wrong

Opening the external site does not mark the item complete. If the program record says registration is on file, the page still does not establish verified Handshake evidence. Ask staff about the pending requirement policy.
